Look, I found hope.

Another simple illustration i did about finding hope.

Sequential Illustration.

For my Illustration degree we had to look at sequential illustration and I decided to base mine on rumours and urban myths. Above is a short story written by Emma Stock, which she wrote specially for my project, and my illustrations.

The story focuses on four boys who imagination get the better of them as they go in search of old Mrs Griswold who lives near then park.

I wanted to remind the reader of all the ridiculous rumours they believed to be true when they were at school.

Dr Who..?

A bit of a geeky entry perhaps, but as an excuse it's for Miss Emma stock... It gets geekier, it's an illustration for a poem she has wrote about the good doctor.

Knit and natter

Above is a logo i've designed for a knitting group my lovely mother has started up at st peters church in west harrow. if anyone in harrow fancies getting their needles working, head her way. I'll post a link when i know more info.

Look, I found hope.

As an on going side project I've been looking at the idea of finding hope. I'll be uploading quite a few on this topic, hence the name.

Learning to love tea.

a set of illustrations done exploring sequence. i used pen and water colour on card.

As a young English lady one is expected to like.. no.. love tea. alas I did not. often I'd find myself round a friends house and being offered "tea?..coffee?" I'd always have to decline and ask for something else like water. I then heard that you could learn to like things, if you tormented your taste buds enough they would give in and say "okay, okay, we now like (insert taste bud offending item here)". so i decided from then on to like tea.
i am happy to report, i do genuinely now not just like, but love tea.

la la la love.
